Seeds of Bravery (UASEEDs) is launching an opportunity for Ukrainian innovative tech companies (start-ups and SMEs) to provide grants to purchase 2 months of Business Consultancy Services.

The main goal of Seeds of Bravery (UASEEDs) is to support Ukraine’s innovative tech companies (start-ups and SMEs) scene and bring it closer to the EU. Seeds of Bravery, within the next two years, will launch five different support programmes for the integration of Ukrainian tech start-ups and SMEs into the European Innovation Ecosystems:

  • Innovation Services

  • Entrepreneurship Programmes

  • Deep Tech Incubation

  • Rebuild Ukraine and

  • DeepTech ScaleUp and Acceleration.

Funded by the European Union under the European Innovation Council (EIC). UASEEDs project has received funding from the Horizon Europe Framework Programme under grant agreement No. 101104445.

Prioritiy Areas

They accept applicants from all sectors, but these are the domains that are given priority:

  • cybersecurity,

  • health/life,

  • edtech,

  • infrastructure and materials,

  • agrifood tech,

  • mobility,

  • energy and

  • climate.

Funding Information
  • In this open call they will provide grants up to EUR 10 000 for the Projects that aim to upgrade:

    • company’s business model, and/or

    • business plan, and/or

    • growth strategy

  • 2 months of the Business Consultancy Services can boost your potential for obtaining support in future UASEEDs opportunities and EIC calls. These services will provide your company with a clear understanding of how it should generate revenue, sustain and grow its operations.

  • Having a business model will provide you with a roadmap to manage critical stages of your business development.

Eligibility

Who can apply?
  • UASEEDs will provide financial support to innovative tech companies (SMEs) that:

    • are registered in Ukraine, or

    • have relocated from Ukraine to one of the Member States of the European Union and its Overseas Countries and Territories (OCT) or Horizon Europe Associated Countries after 24.02.2022, or

    • have registered in one of the Member States of the European Union and its Overseas Countries and Territories (OCT) or Horizon Europe Associated Countries after 24.02.2022, and

    • have at least one founder or co-founder, or top manager (CEO, CTO, COO or equivalent key position) holding Ukrainian citizenship.

  • Additionally the company must have at least one founder or co-founder working for the company full-time.

  • To be categorised as “innovative”, the individual entity applying must meet the following conditions:

    • have a business that operates on a relatively small scale (SME) but demonstrates a high degree of innovation in its products, services or processes (e.g., ground-breaking objectives, novel concepts and a high degree of innovation in new products, services or business and organisational models);

    • distinguish itself by actively engaging in the development and application of new ideas, technologies, or approaches that bring about significant advancements, improvements, or novel solutions to existing challenges.
