About

The Google.org AI for the Global Goals Call for Applications is now open to find organizations around the world that are using artificial intelligence (AI) to help accelerate progress against the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

At Google, it is believed that artificial intelligence can provide new ways of approaching problems and meaningfully improve people’s lives. AI provides another tool to explore and address hard questions across all sectors of society - from quickly and accurately forecasting floods to connecting people in transition to education and job opportunities.

Accelerating progress, with the help of AI.

  • In Google’s work with nonprofits, universities, governments and others, Google has seen that AI can reduce the time and resources needed to make progress against some of the world's toughest challenges. Learn more about how teams across Alphabet and Google.org funded organizations are already using AI to tackle the Global Goals.
