Grant Size Not Available   ,   Closing Date

About

The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is inviting applications from civil society organisations to strengthen emergency response capacity and deliver timely humanitarian support in Thailand. The programme focuses on emergency preparedness and disaster risk reduction, humanitarian assistance, child-centred response, cross-border displacement, floods and other natural disasters, public health emergencies, and other crises causing displacement.

Partner organisations will contribute to UNICEF Thailand’s readiness by maintaining flexible operations and adapting activities to evolving emergency needs. Eligible interventions may include rapid needs assessments, establishment of child- and adolescent-friendly spaces, mother-and-baby spaces, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services, psychosocial first aid and counselling, case management and referrals, education and early childhood development support, and parenting activities. Additional responses may involve cash transfer or in-kind support schemes, risk communication and community engagement, distribution of essential supplies, and monitoring and evaluation.

The programme covers priority locations including Changwat Tak, Changwat Si Sa Ket, Changwat Nakhon Si Thammarat, Changwat Narathiwat, Changwat Chiang Rai, Changwat Ubon Ratchathani, Changwat Sakon Nakhon, Changwat Nakhon Ratchasima, Chiang Mai Province, and Changwat Surin. Through these partnerships, UNICEF aims to provide principled, timely, and quality humanitarian assistance to vulnerable children, families, and affected populations across Thailand.

Eligibility

Applications are open to civil society organisations legally registered and operating in Thailand with demonstrated capacity to implement humanitarian response activities. Eligible organisations must have proven experience in emergency preparedness, child protection, education, health, or related humanitarian fields. Applicants should demonstrate operational flexibility, the ability to adapt programming to rapidly changing contexts, and a commitment to humanitarian principles. Proposals will be evaluated based on organisational capacity, relevance of proposed activities to programme priorities, and potential impact on vulnerable children and communities.
