Grant Size Not Available   ,   Closing Date

About

The World Food Programme (WFP) invites local NGOs to submit expressions of interest to partner in delivering integrated food and nutritional assistance to crisis‑affected populations in Cameroon’s North‑West Region. The programme addresses the protracted humanitarian crisis by supporting self‑reliance and recovery through comprehensive food security and nutrition interventions. Eligible activities include cash and food assistance for internally displaced persons and vulnerable host communities, unconditional food and cash‑based support, prevention and treatment of moderate acute malnutrition among children aged 6–59 months and pregnant and breastfeeding women and girls, promotion of optimal infant and young child feeding practices, support for diversified and nutritious diets, school feeding where feasible, and resilience‑building initiatives to restore livelihoods and strengthen community recovery. Projects are expected to contribute directly to meeting the basic food, nutrition, and essential needs of affected women, men, girls, and boys in priority areas.

Eligibility

This opportunity is open to local NGOs with an active presence in Cameroon’s North‑West Region. Applicants must submit a completed concept note and budget template provided by WFP, along with an environmental screening for each proposed project. Proposals will be evaluated based on their relevance to achieving expected results (60% weight) and cost effectiveness (40% weight). Only organizations meeting these requirements will be considered for partnership under this call.
