The Spirit of Togetherness Award (SOTA) 2026, launched by Pernod Ricard in partnership with One Young World, celebrates young leaders who strengthen social connection and inclusion through community-driven initiatives. The award supports projects that foster joyful shared experiences, build inclusive environments across diverse groups—including intergenerational and multicultural communities and people with diverse abilities—and promote cultural togetherness through traditions, heritage, food, drink, and shared practices. This global initiative will recognize five outstanding young leaders whose work demonstrates measurable community impact, inclusivity, and scalability. Each recipient will receive a €8,000 grant to expand their initiative. In addition to financial support, winners will participate in the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa, with travel, accommodation (2–6 November 2026), meals, and local transport provided. The summit offers a platform to showcase initiatives globally and build partnerships that enhance long-term impact.

Eligibility

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and meet the legal drinking age requirement in their country of residence. The award is open to candidates of all nationalities. Selection will prioritize initiatives that demonstrate strong social impact, inclusivity, and scalability, with additional consideration given to projects incorporating environmental sustainability and innovation.
