The Ama Amoedo Foundation has launched the fourth edition of its Grants Program to strengthen the visual arts ecosystem in Latin America. The program provides financial support to artists, collectives, nonprofit organizations, institutions, and art professionals whose projects demonstrate a significant connection to the region. Grants are awarded to initiatives that advance artistic research and creation, foster art and social engagement, promote education and inclusion, empower communities, preserve and disseminate Latin American artistic heritage, and support editorial projects and publications.

Ten grants of USD 10,000 will be awarded across four categories: Artists, Art and Social Engagement, Organizations, and Publications. Supported projects may include research, creative practice, community-based art initiatives, institutional programs, and editorial work. Funded projects must be completed within two years of receiving the grant. Applications are open from July 7 to September 9, 2026.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants include artists, collectives, art professionals, nonprofit organizations, institutions, and foundations with a demonstrable connection to Latin America through nationality, cultural heritage, or the location of project implementation. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and may submit only one application under a single grant category. For group, institutional, or organizational applications, one individual must be designated as the project holder and legal representative. This representative will be responsible for the application process, communication with the Ama Amoedo Foundation, project implementation, contract signing, and must hold a bank account in their own name to receive the grant.
