The Moonshot Health Award supports young visionaries worldwide who are developing breakthrough, early-stage healthcare innovations to enhance physical and mental well-being while reducing global disparities in care. The program prioritizes projects that improve health outcomes, expand service accessibility, and utilize emerging technologies—such as big data—to transform medical research, enable remote delivery, and strengthen healthcare systems. Selected recipients will receive a $5,000 equity-free grant, with opportunities for additional scaling funds, to implement their projects over a two-year duration. Alongside financial support, the initiative provides a comprehensive acceleration program featuring mentorship, immersive camps, leadership development, and access to a lifelong global community of strategic partners and international platforms.

Eligibility

This opportunity is open to individual young founders, scientists, and medical practitioners, as well as teams, who are between 15 and 30 years of age by July 1, 2026. Applicants must be early-stage changemakers leading projects or social ventures that demonstrate innovative thinking and strong potential for meaningful community and environmental impact; governmental organizations are strictly ineligible. Evaluation considerations will focus on the applicant's ability to improve health systems, services, or outcomes. Please note that for selected winners who are minors, the prize funding may be legally awarded to a designated legal guardian or the responsible sponsoring organization behind the project.
