CFAs: U.S-Saudi AI Research Commercialization Accelerator Program (Saudi Arabia)
About
The U.S.–Saudi AI Research Commercialization Accelerator (ReCAP) is a 12‑month initiative designed to connect Saudi Arabia’s growing artificial intelligence innovation ecosystem with the United States’ advanced technology, investment, and commercialization sectors. The program will identify and evaluate 20–30 Saudi‑developed AI technologies, selecting approximately 10 of the most promising for advancement through applied U.S.-led commercialization programming and Innovation Labs.
Participants will benefit from direct engagement with the American AI ecosystem, including an intensive U.S. study tour, and the program will culminate in a high‑level U.S.–Saudi AI Research Commercialization Summit. This initiative supports U.S. foreign policy priorities by fostering durable relationships between Saudi innovators and American technology, investment, and commercialization networks.
The total funding available ranges from $600,000 to $900,000. Supported projects are expected to deliver measurable outcomes in AI commercialization, innovation capacity building, and cross‑border collaboration.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants include not‑for‑profit organizations such as civil society groups and non‑governmental organizations, public and private educational institutions, public international organizations, and governmental institutions. Applicants must demonstrate the capacity to manage funds responsibly, implement a 12‑month program, and deliver results that strengthen U.S.–Saudi collaboration in artificial intelligence commercialization. Proposals will be evaluated based on their ability to advance Saudi‑developed AI technologies, foster professional engagement, and build sustainable partnerships with U.S. technology and investment networks.
