2027 YSEALI Regional Workshop: Securing Supply Chains (Indonesia)
About
The YSEALI Regional Workshop on Secure and Resilient Global Supply Chains in Southeast Asia aims to strengthen regional capacity in supply chain management, security, and resilience. The program focuses on building knowledge of supply chain fundamentals, risk analysis, and strategies to address vulnerabilities such as cyber threats, illegal transshipment, geopolitical risks, and industrial overcapacity. It highlights the strategic importance of critical and rare earth minerals, encourages diversified processing and refining capabilities, and promotes economic prosperity and security across Southeast Asia and the United States.
Participants will be introduced to emerging technologies—including digital tracking, blockchain, and artificial intelligence—and their role in enhancing efficiency and security in trade and logistics. The workshop also emphasizes U.S. tools, frameworks, and best practices such as intellectual property protection, export controls, taxation, cybersecurity, and cross-border data flows. By convening early-stage professionals from Southeast Asia, the program fosters regional collaboration, dialogue, and policy-oriented perspectives that support national advocacy and expand U.S.-ASEAN commercial opportunities.
