Apply Now: Solomon Islands–Australia Community Partnerships Grant
About
The Solomon Islands–Australia Community Partnerships program provides funding for small-scale, community-led infrastructure projects that deliver practical and lasting benefits to disadvantaged groups, including women, youth, people with disabilities, and isolated communities. The initiative supports projects that achieve tangible outcomes with high development impact, such as multipurpose community halls, toilet blocks, water tanks, sanitation facilities, single-storey school classrooms, libraries, upgrades to health clinics, footpaths, solar-powered street lighting, fencing for community buildings, cultural or sporting infrastructure, and staff housing for schools or health clinics. Grants are available up to SBD 300,000 per project, covering both building materials and transport costs. Projects must be completed within twelve months of receiving funding. Jointly funded initiatives with National and Provincial Governments are encouraged, ensuring broad collaboration and sustainability.
