The Baltic-American Dialogue Program offers to support international collaboration by enabling Baltic organizations to host American speakers and exchange knowledge, ideas, and experiences.

The program focuses on fostering the exchange of ideas between the Baltic States and the U.S., strengthening international ties, providing access to expert knowledge, creating customized learning opportunities, and supporting dialogue through events and sessions that address community needs. It also promotes cross-Baltic collaboration between similar groups and institutions.

The program invites public organizations and NGOs in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania to apply for funding to host speakers from the U.S. who can share knowledge, practical insights, and innovative solutions on topics of mutual importance and interest.

Successful applicants can receive financial support of up to $10,000 USD to sponsor American speakers. Eligible expenses include international airfare, local transportation, accommodations, meals, and other event expenses such as IT support or translation services.

Funds will be provided based on the schedule included in the application and will not be disbursed more than 60 days before the event.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants include NGOs, educational institutions such as universities, government entities, chambers of commerce, social service organizations, and trade and business groups. Speakers should be selected independently according to the needs of the sponsoring organization.

The strongest proposals will provide opportunities for learning and exchange between U.S. speakers and members of Baltic sponsoring institutions while contributing to stronger U.S.-Baltic ties.
