The Giving Joy Microgrant Program provides small-scale funding to support innovative projects that deliver tangible economic or social benefits for women, girls, and families worldwide. The program encourages creative ideas that extend beyond personal business growth to foster opportunities, income generation, skills development, safety, and leadership for women and communities. Grants of up to USD 500 are awarded per recipient, with the exact amount determined by proposed activities and available resources. Each grant period lasts six months, during which recipients are expected to implement their projects. Funding may support the launch or expansion of businesses, nonprofits, NGOs, charities, or specific community-focused initiatives, provided all activities are legal and designed to benefit women, girls, and families.

Eligibility

Applications are open to women aged 18 and above from any country or territory. Applicants do not need to own a business to qualify. Proposals must clearly demonstrate how the project will benefit women, girls, and/or families. Activities must comply with legal standards. Applications are accepted in any language that can be translated using Google Translate. Evaluation will consider the project’s potential to generate meaningful social or economic impact for women and communities.
