Grants to End Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation

Grant Size Not Available   ,   Closing Date

About

The Childhood Foundation supports innovative projects that aim to end sexual abuse and exploitation of children in selected countries. Operating from its international office in Sweden, the Foundation funds initiatives in Cambodia, Moldova, South Africa, Sweden, Thailand, and Ukraine. Grants focus on addressing both local and cross‑border child protection challenges.

Current thematic priorities include strengthening the role of trusted adults, enhancing digital safety for children, improving access to justice and healing, addressing neglected risk groups, and preventing perpetration. Projects must align with these focus areas and demonstrate a clear strategy for measurable impact. Funding is provided for single‑year projects that contribute to sustainable solutions within the eligible countries.

Eligibility

Applicants must be legally registered organizations such as NGOs, charities, or similar entities operating in one of the eligible countries. All applicants are required to complete a basic eligibility quickscan before submitting a concept note. Proposals that align with the Foundation’s priorities will be considered for further dialogue. A prior visit from the Foundation to meet staff and assess the project context is mandatory before a full application can be submitted.
