The Danish Arts Foundation (DAF) is inviting applications for projects that advance and promote Danish craft and design both nationally and internationally. The program supports the development and dissemination of contemporary Danish craft and design, fostering creative production, cultural exchange, and international collaboration. Funding may cover a wide range of activities including exhibitions, dissemination initiatives, residencies, production of works, editorial content, and business establishment or cooperation projects that highlight the distinctive identity of Danish craft and design. Grants are intended to strengthen the visibility and sustainability of Danish craft and design, ensuring fair remuneration for participating artists and designers.

Eligibility

Applications are open to artists, designers, curators, authors, promoters, museums, galleries, and other stakeholders engaged in Danish craft and design. Both individuals and institutions may apply, and groups may submit joint or individual applications. Submissions must include a completed project description using the mandatory template, a detailed budget and financing plan with clear income and expense statements, up to three A4 pages of images visualizing the project, documentation of previous work, and brief CVs for all participants. Applicants are expected to demonstrate professional capacity and commitment to fair compensation practices.
