Call for Proposals: Track It - Advancing Real-Time Monitoring

Grant Size $10,000 to $100,000   ,   Closing Date

About

The UN Women has launched a new Call for Proposals to identify a Responsible Party that will strengthen its Track It Monitoring System across the Arab States Region.

This initiative aims to improve dashboard analytics, data integration, and staff capacity for real-time evidence generation—enhancing visibility and decision-making on gender equality results across all programmes and countries in the region.

The Track It Monitoring System, already operational, plays a central role in supporting UN Women’s evidence-based programming and tracking results in real time. As the organization transitions from the 2022–2025 Strategic Note (SN) to the 2026–2029 SN and Strategic Plan (SP), this project seeks to upgrade how results are captured, visualized, and utilized for reporting and program management. Enhancements will focus on aligning dashboards with SP and SN indicators, improving accessibility for staff, and expanding the system’s ability to distinguish between direct, indirect, and population-level impacts.

The selected Responsible Party will be tasked with refining dashboard structures to reflect programmatic results in areas such as political participation, economic empowerment, humanitarian response, Women, Peace and Security, data coordination, and communications. Additionally, they will integrate administrative and demographic datasets for comprehensive analytics, strengthen data quality and compliance processes, and build staff capacity to interpret and communicate evidence-driven outcomes effectively.

The project will run from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026, with a total budget range of USD 30,000 to 50,000. It will be implemented in four phases: reviewing and mapping indicators, enhancing dashboards and data systems, testing and refinement, and finally staff training and rollout.

Eligibility

Applicants are expected to demonstrate expertise in digital monitoring systems, data visualization, dashboard development, and the use of platforms such as KoboToolbox for data collection. Additional competencies include experience in analytics, data governance, project management, and the ability to train and support staff. Experience with UN agencies or gender-focused data systems will be considered an asset.

By the end of this initiative, UN Women aims to ensure that the upgraded Track It System offers a unified and efficient platform for real-time monitoring and evidence-based decision-making, ultimately strengthening gender equality outcomes across the Arab States Region.
