About

The Dialogue for the Future 3 (DFF3) project invites civil society organizations, educational and cultural institutions across Bosnia and Herzegovina to submit project proposals that promote peacebuilding, social cohesion, and intercultural dialogue.

The focus of this call is on peacebuilding, strengthening trust, social cohesion, intercultural dialogue, equality, respect for diversity, and active citizen participation, particularly among youth, women, and marginalized groups, while aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 16 (SDG 16) and emphasizing the thematic areas of culture, education, and environmental protection, along with priorities such as youth engagement, trust-building within local communities, gender equality, women’s empowerment, and support for vulnerable groups.

This public call supports initiatives that contribute to building a more inclusive and equitable society by fostering dialogue and cooperation among communities. Special emphasis is placed on partnerships, requiring collaboration between civil society organizations, educational institutions, and cultural institutions within one or more partner local communities. The lead applicant must be based in one of the designated partner areas, while partners must demonstrate relevant operations within these communities.

The grant amount for selected projects ranges from KM 10,000 to KM 20,000, with implementation periods between three and five months, scheduled from June to November 2026. Administrative costs are limited to a maximum of 20% of the total budget, while at least 70% must be dedicated to direct program activities such as training, community initiatives, and project implementation efforts.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants include civil society organizations, public educational institutions, and cultural institutions located within the partner local communities, while private companies may only participate as donors providing co-financing support. Applicants must meet eligibility criteria, including the absence of conflicts of interest and compliance with transparency and ethical standards during the application process.

The DFF3 project is implemented by UNDP, UNICEF, and UNESCO in partnership with national institutions, aiming to strengthen social cohesion, promote diversity, and build trust among communities, especially among young people, contributing to a more peaceful and democratic society in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
