The Women’s Fund Armenia has launched a grant
competition for women and girls in STEM to promote the active involvement of
women and girls in the IT field, to support their ideas and initiatives, to
break stereotypes.
Funding Information
The winning proposals will receive up to 600,000
AMD (including taxes) from the Fund.
Eligibility Criteria
To participate in the competition, you need to
submit ideas for initiatives: startup, hackathon, forum, STEM (science,
technology, engineering – mathematics) clubs for girls, etc. Initiatives should
be aimed at involving women and girls in the IT sector, support the
implementation of their ideas.
Criteria
o Please describe the
purpose and mission of your organization / initiative & the work that is
focused on women's issues within your organization / initiative (up to half a
page).
o Please indicate what
feminist approaches you have or plan to have within your organization /
initiative.
o Please indicate if this
is your first time applying for a similar program or if you have had experience
with other grants.
o Name of the project:

§ Problem / Situation
Description (What is the problem you want to address & Solve, why do you
think it's a problem?)
§ Project goal & objectives
(What do you want to see as a result of the project, what goal do you want to
achieve with this project, what are the short-term & long-term goals of
your project)
o Description of project
activities (What do you plan to do within the proposed project?)
o Target groups (Who are
the target groups of the proposed program, why do you think this program is
important for them?)
o Project Sustainability
(please indicate how you see the impact of the project on the future activities
of your Organization / Initiative)
o Project deadlines
(Specify detailed deadlines for these activities, you can also include them in
the budget section)
