RLS Southeast Asia – Hanoi Office is calling for project concept
notes for the period from 2021 – 2023. Each organization can submit maximum two
project concept notes. Projects can be, but are not limited to conferences,
policy studies, dialogues, workshops, training, awareness-raising events,
development of communication material, educational art work, and advocacy
activities.
Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung (RLS) is one of six major political foundations in the Federal Republic
of Germany. Affiliated with the German Left party, Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung
nurtures and promotes democratic socialism.
RLS currently has 26 offices worldwide. In over
80 countries, they are working with partners, including state agencies,
academic institutions, and civil society organizations. From RLS Southeast Asia
(RLS SEA) – Hanoi Office, they aim to contributing to ensure social, ecological
and political rights for all as well as overcoming unequal power structures by promoting
participatory decision making processes, political exchange and dialogue,
leading to a fair distribution of wealth and resources and a healthy
environment.
Themes
Projects should contribute to our three
components and focus on specific themes as below:
Component A: Social
justice
In this component, they support policy makers,
academics, social stakeholders and politically underrepresented groups to
conduct intensive dialogues for improving the socio-political situation of
politically underrepresented groups and workers. They focus on below themes:
Component B: Social
and Ecological Transformation (SET)
They support policy makers, academics and social
stakeholders to build capabilities to address social and ecological problems by
applying the framework of SET to develop, implement and share concrete examples
and practical approaches. In this component, they focus on:
Component C: Raising
progressive Mekong voices in the ASEAN region
They support progressive policy makers, social
stakeholders and academics from the Mekong region to share their perspectives
and analysis at regional and international level for developing regional
solutions to challenges that are relevant across different countries and to
discuss/resolve cross-border problems. In this component, they focus on:
