Qatar Research, Development and Innovation Council

Qatar Research, Development and Innovation (QRDI) Council was established in 2018 as a key milestone in advancing Qatar’s research, development, and innovation (RDI) agenda. Its initial mission was to develop a national strategy that would align and optimize RDI efforts to support the country’s long-term goals. This mission was successfully completed in late 2019 with the launch of the Qatar Research, Development and Innovation Strategy 2030. The Council brings together leading national and international experts from government, industry, and academia, leveraging their diverse knowledge and experience to guide and drive Qatar’s innovation landscape.
