Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation (AHSF) was established in 1978 on the initiative of the Arab Bank. Its establishment aimed to create a center of knowledge and creativity in Jordan and the Arab World. Since its establishment, the foundation has supported knowledge, research and dialogue in the Middle East. The foundation was awarded the King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein Award for Excellence for its role in supporting culture, science and arts. AHSF strives to achieve a cultured and creative community (our vision), through investing in cultural and social innovation to impact the communities they serve (their mission) positively. they aim to reach all sectors of the society: children, youth, parents, entrepreneurs, researchers, intellectuals, innovators, education and cultural entities, public and private sector institutions and civil society organizations. This is done through three main pillars:
