The CMA CGM Foundation is launching its 2019 call for proposals. The financial assistance will be granted between France (SUD/Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur region) and Lebanon, for projects meeting the following objectives:
- Reduce educational inequalities;
- Promote access to basic learning through the maintenance or restoration of a school environment;
- Help children and young people regain self-confidence, fulfil themselves and become autonomous;
- Reconcile children and young people with school and develop school retention;
- Prevent children and young people from leaving the school system and becoming socially isolated;
- Fight against all kinds of stereotypes in the choice of orientation;
- Introduce young people to the professions and the business world;
- Facilitate access to education for deserving young people;
- Engage young people in civic actions;
- Encourage digital development as a means of restoring young people's desire to learn;
- Facilitate the acquisition of equipment to improve the living environment in educational reception centers.
