8th Call for Proposals for Small-Size Grants
من نحن
The Global EbA Fund Small-Size Grants programme supports innovative and catalytic initiatives that address systemic barriers to scaling Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) in ODA-eligible countries. Managed by IUCN and UNEP with support from the International Climate Initiative (IKI), the fund aims to accelerate the implementation and upscaling of nature-based climate adaptation solutions by strengthening institutional and technical capacities, generating data and evidence, fostering knowledge exchange, and improving investment readiness for EbA. Priority is given to projects that develop scalable and investable concepts for climate finance, adapt and expand proven technologies, apply research to overcome EbA implementation challenges, and create synergies with existing EbA and Nature-based Solutions initiatives. Projects must demonstrate a clear adaptation impact pathway, promote gender-responsive and socially inclusive approaches, and incorporate sustainability measures to ensure long-term impact. Grants of up to USD 250,000 are available for projects with a maximum duration of 24 months. Activities must be implemented in ODA-eligible countries and contribute to enabling the large-scale adoption of ecosystem-based adaptation practices.
