من نحن

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking proposals for a research study on the prevalence, drivers, and impacts of workplace gender-based violence, sexual harassment, and discrimination in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with particular attention to women’s economic vulnerability and dependency. The study will examine labour market inequalities, workplace risks, institutional responses, employer accountability, economic empowerment policies, and alignment with international human rights standards and European Union gender equality frameworks. It will place special emphasis on vulnerable and marginalized groups, including Roma women, rural women, women with disabilities, LGBTIQ+ individuals, migrant women, and other at-risk populations. Through quantitative and qualitative research, econometric modelling, comparative sectoral analysis, and predictive risk profiling, the project aims to identify workplace environments that expose women to violence, harassment, and discrimination, as well as the economic and professional consequences of such experiences. The findings will provide an evidence base to inform economic empowerment programmes for survivors of gender-based violence, strengthen workplace protections, support safer and more inclusive employment pathways, and promote social entrepreneurship initiatives under the Gender and Social Assistance Programme (2025–2029).

معايير القبول

Eligible applicants must demonstrate a minimum of five years of proven experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative research, econometric modelling, and disaggregated data analysis across population groups. Applicants should have expertise in workplace gender-based violence, sexual harassment, discrimination, and labour market dynamics, including experience in prevalence and risk assessments, sectoral and organizational workplace analysis, and impact evaluations related to the economic and professional effects of workplace abuse. Strong capacity in analysing economic dependency, structural barriers, and intersectional discrimination is required, alongside experience in comparative studies between exposed and non-exposed groups and the development of predictive risk profiling models for identifying high-risk groups and workplace settings. Proposals will be evaluated based on the applicant’s technical expertise, methodological capacity, and demonstrated ability to deliver evidence-based research aligned with gender equality and human rights frameworks.
