Call for Proposals: UNDP GEF Small Grants Program (Palau)
من نحن
The Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme (GEF-SGP), implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), is inviting proposals for community-driven initiatives in Palau that generate environmental benefits while strengthening local resilience and sustainable development. The programme supports projects aligned with GEF focal areas, including community-based conservation, climate change mitigation and adaptation, biodiversity conservation, sustainable land and forest management, low-carbon and renewable energy solutions, chemicals and waste management, international waters, sustainable urban development, and sustainable agriculture, fisheries, and food security. Funding is available through two grant categories: Regular Grants of up to USD 75,000 for projects with a duration of one to two years, and Strategic Grants of up to USD 150,000 for larger-scale initiatives that replicate and expand successful approaches across multiple communities. Through this call, the programme seeks to empower local communities to address environmental challenges through innovative, scalable, and sustainable actions.
