من نحن

The Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs’ Office of Assistance Coordination (NEA/AC) is inviting proposals for projects in Egypt that advance U.S. commercial diplomacy and reinforce the U.S.-Egypt partnership. This $100 million funding opportunity supports initiatives in water security, agriculture, artificial intelligence (AI), education, high-performance computing, and technology entrepreneurship. The program aims to promote sustainable development in Egypt while expanding the use of U.S. technologies, expertise, and standards. Specific initiatives include AI-based tools for water usage optimization, joint research and pilot projects to strengthen water innovation, agricultural resource management to improve food security, digital education and workforce development in AI, deployment of U.S.-origin high-performance computing infrastructure, and accelerator programs to support Egyptian tech startups. Projects are expected to align with priority sectors such as energy development and exports, trade facilitation, emerging technologies, critical infrastructure, critical minerals, regional economic integration, advanced manufacturing, workforce training, and economic recovery in conflict-affected areas. Proposals should demonstrate orientation toward the American business community, foster burden-sharing, and show how they will help U.S. businesses secure foreign contracts and tenders.
