adidas Foundation – Moving for Change East Africa 2026 Call for Applications
من نحن
The adidas Foundation’s Moving for Change program seeks to embed Sport for Development (S4D) approaches into sustainable development strategies, fostering more equitable, resilient, and inclusive societies. Through this Request for Proposals, INGOs are invited to collaborate with locally based S4D organizations to design and implement projects that leverage sport to promote gender equality and strengthen organizational systems. Selected partnerships will receive multi-year funding (up to €700,000 per project over three years), participate in a Community of Practice for peer learning and capacity building, and contribute to evidence generation on sport’s role in advancing social inclusion. The program emphasizes support for girls and women, while adopting an intersectional approach to marginalized communities facing discrimination based on gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability, nationality, refugee status, or faith background. A total of €2.2 million is available under this call, with projects expected to begin in early 2027.
