The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is seeking qualified entities to support the implementation of a national Teaching Plan Competition in the Philippines aimed at integrating living heritage and intangible cultural heritage into classroom learning for primary and secondary schools. Implemented under the authority of the UNESCO Regional Office in Jakarta and its Culture Sector, the seven-month assignment is expected to run from June to December 2026. The selected contractor will manage the full competition cycle, including the development and dissemination of call-for-proposal materials, organization of online information sessions, facilitation of nationwide outreach to schools, coordination of a transparent jury selection and evaluation process, and selection of ten winning teaching plans or schools. The assignment also includes administering grants to selected schools, monitoring implementation progress, collecting feedback and testimonials, preparing jury and progress reports, and submitting final narrative and certified financial reports. The program focuses on strengthening heritage-based education across the Philippines by supporting innovative teaching approaches and encouraging participation from schools nationwide.
