Call for Proposals: AI Accelerator Grant Program
من نحن
The AI Accelerator Grant Program has launched its applications to support international artificial intelligence-driven ovarian cancer research collaborations.
The grant supports data-intensive and AI-driven ovarian cancer research focused on prevention, initiation, and early detection, the tumor ecosystem, treatment resistance, patient stratification, imaging analysis, biomarker discovery, literature synthesis, and other scientifically rigorous projects aimed at improving survival rates and patient outcomes.
Funding of up to USD 1 million over three years will be awarded to the institution of the Principal Investigator. In addition to the financial support, applicants may request up to USD 200,000 per year and up to USD 600,000 total in AWS cloud compute credits for data-intensive AI research conducted within OCRA’s Discovery Lab Trusted Research Environment.
Eligible applicants must apply as a collaborative team consisting of at least four senior lead investigators representing the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. One investigator must be designated as the Principal Investigator, who may be based in any country as long as the country representation requirement is fulfilled. All lead investigators must hold full-time faculty or equivalent appointments at accredited universities, medical schools, public health schools, or non-profit research institutions, possess a doctoral degree at the time of submission, and must not be in training positions.
Teams are required to include an AI specialist or experienced AI researcher. Applications led by researchers from artificial intelligence, computational science, data science, or related quantitative disciplines are encouraged if the proposed work is clearly connected to ovarian cancer research. Inclusion of clinicians and patient or public partners is strongly encouraged. There are no citizenship requirements for the grant.
