من نحن

The Embassy of Switzerland in Jakarta invites applications for its 2027 Small Projects Programme, which supports grassroots initiatives that improve the lives of marginalized, disadvantaged, and vulnerable communities in Indonesia and Timor-Leste. The programme focuses on two priority areas: (1) strengthening access to essential community-level services, including financial inclusion, support for farmers and smallholders, access to education, basic healthcare, and decent employment; and (2) promoting and protecting human rights through initiatives that advance the rights of women and girls, protect children and minorities, foster inclusion, prevent torture and inhuman treatment, and improve access to justice and legal assistance. Projects must be implemented in Indonesia or Timor-Leste and demonstrate tangible benefits for vulnerable populations. The Embassy provides grants of up to IDR 445,000,000 (USD 25,000) for essential services projects and up to IDR 285,000,000 (USD 16,000) for human rights projects. Funding may cover a maximum of 80% of the total project budget, while applicants are expected to secure the remaining 20% through their own resources or other donors. Administrative overheads and daily subsistence allowances may not exceed 20% of total project costs.

معايير القبول

Applicants must be non-profit civil society organizations legally registered in Indonesia or Timor-Leste and proposing projects that align with the programme’s thematic priorities and geographic focus. Eligible proposals should demonstrate relevance, feasibility, and clear benefits for marginalized and vulnerable communities. The programme does not support profit-oriented organizations, projects with religious purposes, initiatives consisting solely of material distributions, scholarships or study visits, projects benefiting only selected individuals, or simple donations and sponsorships. Organizations or projects that received support under the programme in the previous year are not eligible for consecutive-year funding. Applications will be assessed based on their alignment with programme objectives, expected impact on target communities, sound project design, and compliance with funding requirements.
