RFAs: Support for Japanese-Language Education Organizations
من نحن
The Japan Foundation invites overseas institutions and organizations engaged in Japanese-language education to apply for the Support Program for Organizations in Japanese-Language Education 2027. This program aims to strengthen Japanese-language education worldwide by supporting initiatives that enhance teacher development and student engagement. Eligible activities include organizing contests, presentations, and events that motivate learners; providing salary assistance for Japanese-language teachers and staff to foster institutional networks (up to three years, contingent on continuation beyond the grant period); purchasing teaching materials, including e-books, for courses or public facilities; and hosting conferences, seminars, workshops, symposia, and training sessions for teachers. The program also funds the preparation and publication of teaching materials tailored to local curricula and welcomes original proposals that promote Japanese-language education and teacher training. Grants partially cover costs related to education activities, teacher salaries, teaching materials, conferences, publications, and innovative proposals.
معايير القبول
Applicants must be overseas Japanese-language institutions or organizations, including teacher associations and academic societies. National laws restricting the receipt of aid from overseas organizations affiliated with governments may limit eligibility. Individual applicants and for-profit entities are not eligible. Proposals will be evaluated based on their contribution to advancing Japanese-language education, sustainability, and alignment with program objectives.
