Open Call for Game Changer Grant Program
من نحن
The Game Changer Grant Program seeks applications to support principal investigators pursuing innovative projects that address major challenges in DIPG/DMG research and could transform understanding of tumorigenesis or the ability to treat or detect DIPG.
Proposals may come from a single investigator or a collaborative, multi-institutional team; collaborative proposals must identify a Primary Investigator and list other participants as collaborating researchers. Proposed research must take an innovative approach to a major challenge in DIPG/DMG research.
The funded research is intended to transform understanding of tumorigenesis or the ability to treat or detect DIPG, supporting the broader aim of better understanding the causes of DIPG/DMG and advancing treatment and a cure. The grant provides up to $600,000 over 3 years, with a maximum of $200,000 per year.
Grants are payable to the recipient’s institution or laboratory, and funds may not be used for indirect costs. The grant period is 3 years. Funding for the second and third years depends on a noncompetitive review of the interim progress report, which must demonstrate satisfactory progress toward the proposed research objectives and appropriate budget expenditures.
