من نحن

The World Food Programme (WFP) invites expressions of interest from qualified partners to implement food security and nutrition interventions for crisis-affected populations in Ethiopia. The program aims to address acute food insecurity and malnutrition among refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and vulnerable host communities across the regions of Tigrai, Amara, Afar, Somali, Gambela Peoples, Oromia, and Benshangul-Gumaz. Through nutrition-sensitive resource transfers, strengthened emergency response systems, and enhanced multisectoral coordination, the initiative seeks to improve access to adequate food and nutrition support for vulnerable populations. Priority activities include providing nutrition-specific assistance and social and behavioural change communication for children aged 6–59 months and pregnant and breastfeeding women and girls; supporting food-insecure refugees through resource transfers and livelihood opportunities; delivering safe and nutritious school meals and complementary services for refugee children; and strengthening government capacity, coordination mechanisms, and social cohesion between refugee and host communities. The call focuses on humanitarian food security, nutrition, education, livelihoods, and social protection interventions in targeted crisis-affected areas of Ethiopia.
