The Holohil Grant Program supports conservation professionals and researchers worldwide by providing in-kind contributions for well-designed studies that advance scientific knowledge and enhance species preservation. Building on a 40-year history of backing endangered-species research, the program awards Holohil transmitters valued at up to CAD$2,500.00 per quarter, alongside coverage of shipping charges, with any excess transmitter costs applied as a credit toward larger orders. Designed for projects lasting across quarterly cycles, the funding scope targets initiatives that make significant use of Holohil transmitters, engage or educate the public, or focus on underrepresented study species of high conservation value. Eligible activities include field research, telemetry-based monitoring, and public outreach programs conducted on a global geographic scale to benefit threatened wildlife and their habitats.

Applicants worldwide—including both scientists and non-scientists—may apply by submitting one project proposal per quarter, with summaries limited to 500 words or one page, via email at any time for quarterly evaluation. Submissions are evaluated based on project feasibility, scientific merit, conservation impact, public engagement potential, and the meaningful incorporation of Holohil transmitters. Recipients must assume responsibility for all local importation duties and taxes, keep the grantor updated on progress, acknowledge Holohil support in all public presentations and publications, and submit a one-page project update complete with photos and findings for publication on the recipient portal.
