Apply Now: Improve Menstrual Health Outcomes Through Youth-Led Film and Communication (India)
من نحن
The United Nations Children’s Fund invites expressions of interest for strategic communication interventions aimed at improving menstrual health and hygiene outcomes across Odisha through participatory short-film making and youth-centred engagement. The program seeks to provide children, adolescents, and young people with a creative platform to express their perspectives on menstruation while promoting accurate, age-appropriate information regarding health, hygiene, and nutrition. Eligible activities include developing locally relevant films for schools and adolescent platforms, engaging boys, teachers, parents, and community stakeholders to challenge restrictive social norms and stigma, and linking film-based discussions with existing government and UNICEF-supported initiatives in health, WASH, education, and adolescent development. Ultimately, the program aims to build a curated collection of films for widespread digital, school, community, and public dissemination to foster supportive environments and encourage open dialogue across the region.
