Pfizer is offering grants to support independent medical education projects that enhance healthcare professional awareness of new mechanisms and emerging treatment options in metastatic castration‑resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). The program seeks to address unmet needs in novel therapies by funding initiatives that explore differentiated mechanisms of action, including the role of EZH2 inhibition, the investigational thesis of concomitant EZH2 and AR inhibition, therapies beyond chemotherapy, and ongoing clinical trials relevant to mCRPC.

Projects should strengthen professional knowledge, promote evidence‑based decision‑making, and expand understanding of innovative therapeutic approaches. Funding ranges from USD 75,000 to 250,000 per project, with a total estimated budget of USD 750,000 available under this call. The maximum project duration is 18–24 months, and budgets may include direct costs, institutional overhead (capped at 28%), and indirect costs.

Applications are open to organizations based in the United States and Europe are the priority regions although proposals with global reach are encouraged. Eligible applicants include medical, dental, nursing, allied health, and pharmacy schools; healthcare institutions; professional organizations and medical societies; medical education companies; and other entities dedicated to healthcare professional education or improvement. Only organizations are eligible to apply; individuals and unaffiliated medical practice groups are not eligible. For projects offering continuing education credit, the applicant organization must hold appropriate accreditation. Proposals will be evaluated on their alignment with program goals, organizational capacity, and potential to advance awareness of emerging therapies in mCRPC.
