1st Call for Validation of Field-Ready Climate Solutions (India)
من نحن
The Validation of Field-Ready Climate Solutions (VFCS) 2026 Call for Applications, launched by the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) through its Centre of Excellence for Sustainability & Climate Action, supports Indian startups developing deployment-ready biological climate innovations. The program aims to advance promising solutions beyond technology development by generating real-world validation data, strengthening evidence of impact, and accelerating adoption and scale-up. Selected startups will work collaboratively with C-CAMP on joint validation projects focused on three thematic areas: Climate and Environment (including bioenergy, bioplastics, waste management, and carbon reduction), Climate and Health (including climate-resilient healthcare and solutions addressing climate-related health challenges), and Climate and Agriculture (including food security, resilient crops, soil health, and sustainable farming practices). Projects are designed to demonstrate field performance and strengthen the case for broader deployment. Funding support of up to INR 50 lakh is available per project, and selected participants will also gain access to C-CAMP’s network of government and industry stakeholders to facilitate partnerships, market entry, adoption, and future scale-up. The geographic focus of the program is India.
