من نحن
The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in the Dominican Republic invites proposals to implement the "Empowering Women: Ensuring Health for All in Boca Chica" project, running over an 11-month period from November 2026 to October 2027. Operating within Boca Chica, the program aims to improve access to quality healthcare for women, girls, adolescents, and young people, with a specific geographic focus on local health facilities and communities. While the total contract amount is open, payments are structured across six milestone-based installments linked to key deliverables, ranging from work plans and baseline reports to final implementation documentation. Funded activities encompass strengthening five health facilities, promoting sexual and reproductive health, family planning, and long-acting reversible contraceptives, as well as preventing cervical cancer through improved screening access. Additional eligible activities include healthcare worker training, community outreach, youth life-skills development, intercultural facilitation for the Haitian population, and comprehensive service monitoring.
