من نحن

The Council of Europe invites civil society organisations (CSOs) registered and operating in Türkiye to apply for grants under the project Fostering Civil Society to Strengthen Access to Environmental Justice and Awareness of Environmental Rights. The program aims to strengthen access to environmental information, provide legal assistance, and ensure effective remedies for individuals and communities affected by environmental harm, including pollution, degradation, and climate-related challenges. Special consideration will be given to organisations working with vulnerable groups and those active in the pilot provinces of Amasya, Manisa, Çanakkale, Şırnak, Sinop, and Konya.

The total indicative budget is EUR 240,000, with up to 10 grants available ranging from EUR 20,000 to EUR 45,000. Projects should run for six months to one year. Payments will be made in three instalments: 50% upon signing the Grant Agreement, 40% after approval of the mid-term report, and 10% following approval of the final report. Each grantee may receive only one grant per province under this program. Applications will be assessed through the Council of Europe’s grant procedures, and selected organisations will be responsible for managing funds, implementing activities, and meeting reporting requirements. The grant timeline includes submission by 01 October 2026, results announcement by 23 November 2026, agreement signing by 15 December 2026, and project implementation from 01 January 2027 to 31 December 2027.
