RFPs: Real World Evidence on the Impact of Early and Appropriate Use of Aztreonam-Avibactam
من نحن
Pfizer invites research proposals to generate real-world evidence on the clinical and health economic impact of the early and appropriate use of Aztreonam-Avibactam (ATM-AVI) in adult patients with suspected or confirmed infections caused by carbapenem-resistant Enterobacterales (CRE) and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia. The program seeks to evaluate how ATM-AVI use, guided by actionable rapid diagnostic results, influences patient outcomes and healthcare resource utilization in routine clinical practice across eligible countries. Supported studies may examine outcomes such as time to appropriate therapy, antibiotic escalation and de-escalation patterns, clinical and microbiological effectiveness, and health economic benefits associated with ATM-AVI treatment. Individual grants of up to USD 50,000 are available, with a total funding pool of USD 100,000. Projects may be implemented for a maximum period of 18 months and should focus on generating evidence from real-world clinical settings where ATM-AVI is routinely available and utilized.

Proposals will be evaluated based on their scientific relevance, methodological quality, feasibility, and alignment with the objectives of the funding opportunity.
