من نحن

Pfizer Inc. has launched a 2026 competitive research grant program supporting innovative basic science research focused on the biochemical and molecular characterization of marstacimab and Tissue Factor Pathway Inhibitor (TFPI) pathways. The call aims to advance foundational understanding of the molecular and cellular mechanisms involved in marstacimab–TFPI interactions, including tissue-specific TFPI expression, binding kinetics, coagulation pathway regulation, and related biochemical properties. Proposed projects may explore the biology of TFPI, interactions with regulatory proteins in intrinsic and extrinsic clotting cascades, the role of TFPI isoforms and tissue distribution in coagulation, and the pharmacological impact of concomitant therapies combined with anti-TFPI treatments. The program supports independent research initiatives employing innovative approaches in biochemistry, molecular biology, and related scientific disciplines. Individual projects may request up to USD 50,000 in research funding, with an additional maximum of USD 50,000 available for study drug support, for projects with a maximum duration of one year.

معايير القبول

Applicants must be organizations based in one of the eligible countries: Brazil, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom, or the United States. The Principal Investigator (PI) and the applicant institution must both be located within these countries. Eligible applicants include hospitals, academic institutions, professional societies, and other legally recognized organizations capable of directly receiving funding from Pfizer Inc.; individuals and independent physician practice groups are not eligible. The PI must hold an appropriate professional qualification, such as an MD, PhD, equivalent postdoctoral degree, advanced nursing degree, or a degree in Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, or Social Work, and must be employed by or contracted with the requesting organization. Applications involving multiple institutions are permitted provided all participating entities have clearly defined roles and the lead organization maintains a significant responsibility within the project. The applicant must either be the PI or an authorized designee acting on the PI’s behalf.
