The Rising Tide Foundation for Clinical Cancer Research (RTFCCR) invites applications for innovative, patient‑centred clinical trials designed to improve cancer treatment options and enhance quality of life. Priority areas include therapy optimization, reducing disease and treatment burden, and advancing early detection and intervention strategies. The programme supports interventional clinical trials from Phase I to Phase III that demonstrate clear potential to positively impact cancer patients. Funding is provided at USD 100,000 per year of the trial duration, though it does not cover the full cost of clinical trials. The programme does not support basic research, observational or epidemiological studies, or trials intended to generate revenue for start‑ups or pharmaceutical companies. There are no geographical or cancer type restrictions, and international collaborations are welcome. Eligible trials must include patient partner involvement, or applicants may first apply for a pre‑application grant to meet this requirement. Applications must be submitted in English.

Applicants must hold a doctoral degree and a faculty appointment or equivalent position at an academic or research institution at the time of award. Both early‑career and established investigators are encouraged to apply, provided they are independent researchers with proven experience in organizing, managing, and implementing clinical trials while safeguarding participant rights and welfare. Institutions must demonstrate commitment to supporting the proposed research activities. Only one active grant per grantee is permitted at a time. Applications must align with programme requirements, including adherence to milestones and timelines, and must involve interventional clinical trials at Phase I, II, or III stages.
