من نحن

Issued by UNICEF, this funding opportunity seeks implementation partners to leverage sport as a strategic tool for child protection, violence prevention, social cohesion, and inclusive participation in Beja, Tunisia. The program aims to achieve four primary results: providing safe and inclusive sports activities for vulnerable children, strengthening the violence-prevention capacity of sports-sector staff, fostering community-led efforts to promote protective social norms, and enhancing social cohesion among diverse communities. Eligible activities encompass delivering adapted sports programs with individualized support, equipping partner clubs with safeguarding and referral procedures, and training coaches, educators, and referees on children's rights, safeguarding, and responding to all forms of violence, including bullying, cyberbullying, discrimination, and gender-based violence. Additional supported activities include community dialogues promoting tolerance and peaceful conflict resolution, life-skills development initiatives (such as communication, leadership, and emotional management), and comprehensive monitoring and evaluation encompassing preliminary needs assessments, quarterly feedback reports, and impact evaluations that disaggregate data by sex, age, disability, and vulnerability status.

Furthermore, applicants must show a strong institutional commitment to safeguarding policies, gender equality, and inclusive participation, along with the administrative readiness to meet UNICEF’s rigorous reporting, monitoring, and data disaggregation standards. Proposals will be evaluated based on the organization's technical expertise, the feasibility and comprehensiveness of the proposed intervention strategy, alignment with the program's four expected results, and the demonstrated ability to engage vulnerable children and local communities effectively.
