The Resilient Futures Call 2026 invites non‑partisan changemakers worldwide to apply for grants that strengthen democratic leadership and climate resilience. The program supports initiatives across three focus areas: Pathways, which connects climate scientists, advocates, and affected communities with governance and political decision‑makers; Leadership, which advances democratic leadership development, ethical communication, policy design, implementation, and coalition‑building; and Cross‑Sector Leadership, which fosters leadership approaches across climate‑related sectors such as energy, housing, transport, food, security, health, and conservation. Priority countries are identified across Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Pacific, though applications from other eligible regions are also considered.

Funding is available through two streams: Ideation Grants, open globally to organisations, networks, collectives, and individuals with new or early‑stage ideas, including pilot projects from established organisations; and Incubation Grants, awarded by nomination only to initiatives that have moved beyond early testing and demonstrated effectiveness. The total funding pool is USD 700,000, with Ideation Grants ranging from USD 10,000–20,000 and Incubation Grants offering up to USD 50,000 plus expert support. Projects are expected to run for up to one year, with implementation beginning after grant decisions in late November or early December 2026.

Applicants must propose non‑partisan initiatives aligned with the program’s thematic areas and regional priorities, and must be based in an eligible location. Political parties, candidates, campaigns, corporate sustainability initiatives, and projects lacking a clear political leadership dimension are not eligible. Applications for Ideation Grants must be submitted through the online form by the stated deadline. Shortlisted applications will be reviewed by the Grantmaking Council of regional experts, with evaluation based on innovation, impact potential, strategic and financial clarity, regional fit, leadership, motivation, and experience. Shortlisted applicants may be asked to provide supporting documentation for due diligence. Incubation Grants are awarded through nomination only.
