من نحن

The NGFP MENA Fellowship, organised in partnership with Dubai Future Foundation through the Global Futures Society provides support to emerging futures and foresight practitioners from the Middle East and North Africa region by providing funding, mentorship, training, and global networking opportunities for systems-level change projects.

The fellowship focuses on Climate & Just Transitions, Democracy & Sustainable Development, Emerging Technologies, Futures Methods From Around the World & Indigenous Futures, Intergenerational Fairness, Nuclear Security, Peacebuilding, Health, and Rural Futures. The programme is designed for projects that aim to create long-term systemic impact using futures and foresight approaches.

The fellowship begins with a one-year journey of project support, collaboration, and learning within a global community of emerging foresight practitioners. Selected fellows receive a USD 1,000 kick-starter fund to support their project and become eligible to compete for a USD 10,000 grand prize at the end of the fellowship year based on significant progress and contribution to the fellowship community and the wider emerging foresight space.

Participants will gain access to a global peer network, a project partner who is usually an expert foresight practitioner, foresight capability-building through an introductory training course, and opportunities to participate in regional or thematic hubs. They will also receive bi-weekly sector news and opportunity updates, including information on grants and relevant futures and foresight events and projects.

معايير القبول

Applicants should be between 18 and 35 years old, or older candidates with less than one year of foresight experience.
