Call for EOIs: Strengthen Climate-Resilient and Inclusive WASH Services in Papua (Indonesia)
من نحن
The United Nations Children's Fund invites prospective partners to strengthen climate resilience and inclusive water, sanitation, and hygiene services for children and adolescents across Papua through improved governance, sanitation progress, school services, and behavior change. Spanning six provinces of Tanah Papua, this initiative focuses on climate governance and child participation, WASH sector governance and sanitation acceleration, and climate-resilient, inclusive WASH services and behavior change for school children and adolescents. Planned project activities include integrating climate resilience, inclusion, and Indigenous Peoples' perspectives into policy and planning; strengthening a youth climate platform; improving WASH governance and accelerating progress toward Open Defecation Free status; and enhancing school WASH services, menstrual health and hygiene, healthy behaviors, and climate education. The expected results are stronger local government capacity and mechanisms for equitable, gender-responsive, disability-inclusive, and climate-resilient WASH services, alongside measurable progress toward safely managed water and sanitation. The indicative budget is 150,000.00 (currency not specified), and project duration and implementation timelines align with standard UNICEF partnership agreements.
